When Warden was a productive Farm, The Stable housed shire horses in 3 stalls and hay and straw was kept above in what is now the bedroom.


This detached cottage is very spacious for 2 people, and is open plan. The living area has a generous kitchen opening out into the living room and dining area.


Upstairs is the bedroom, with a king size bed, where there are stunning views of Dartmoor through the large floor to ceiling picture window, and there are comfortable chairs to enjoy the view from.


Outside there’s a patio surrounded with flowers and a table and chairs for you to enjoy breakfast, lunch or supper in the sun. The patio is south facing and so gets the sun all day. 


One dog is welcome to stay with you. 

There’s car parking for one car directly outside the cottage.


In addition to cutlery, crockery, pans etc the following are provided in each cottage:

Washing up liquid
Hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms
Kitchen roll, cling wrap and foil
Toilet rolls, though you may need to refill
Sufficient dishwasher tablets for a few days
Tea, coffee and sugar
Bath sized towel and hand towel for each guest
Hoover, mop and bucket


Each cottage has a large selection of DVDs, books and jigsaws.

Please note There are small shallow ponds in the gardens of Bale House and Folland House and in Warden Farmhouse gardens.  Due care needs therefore be taken with children and pets.
